The M1S is a purpose-built surveillance platform for Ethernet, IP and MPLS networks designed for the midrange market. This half-depth rack unit (1U) communications platform integrates seven gigabit copper Ethernet interfaces (six with hardware bypass capability) and two modular interface slots, including options for a 2-port gigabit SFP (small form-factor pluggable) or a 10-gigabit SFP+ interface with bypass capability. With a 1U modular design, remarkable performance, and flexible storage options, the M1S is the ultimate in modern network intelligence collection.

Key Advantages of the M1 Network Surveillance Platform:

•Surveils networks using deep packet inspection
•Allows for drop-in technical CALEA compliance
•Communicates directly with law enforcement using Safe Harbor standards
•Provides integrated Mediation capability
•Pairs with another M1S or M1 device to deliver a virtual tap in another physical location
•Records traffic with intelligent ring buffering
•Accelerates cryptography with hardware assistance
•Enables carrier-class performance and stability
•Uses advanced firmware-update to support evolving standards
•Allows add-on applications to operate on separate physical interfaces US

Say Goodbye to High Costs & Bulky Solutions

Packet Forensics adds value and reduces cost. Unlike traditional systems that require separate taps, access points and mediation hardware, we integrate these into a turn-key, single-device solution. This consolidated approach enhances the speed, security and efficiency of data collection, allowing you to focus on what matters to you. With our flexible and easy-to-use management software, you can administer hundreds of devices in the command-line or with simple wizards and graphical controls, no matter where they are located. You can even manage devices behind NAT and firewalls, which lets you deploy your devices anywhere, stress-free and at a moment?s notice.

LI for Specific Court Orders

Unlike many competitive solutions, Packet Forensics surveillance software goes beyond standard targeting methods and provides the most detailed traffic selection criteria in the industry. Instead of simply delivering all data all the time, our technology enables the IP network equivalents of pen-register, trap-and-trace, direct voice recording, dialed digit extraction, complete call detail records and meta-data generation. We provide a sophisticated solution aimed at upholding the privacy of citizens while delivering the most actionable information required by law enforcement.
